Sandy Fisher, Weavings, and guest artists Eva Farley,
Watercolors, and Dolores Mitchell, oils, will show art based on nature’s color palette at 853 Arbutus Avenue, Chico. Fisher dyes flax and wool for scarves and shawls with madder root and rosemary from her garden, Mitchell paints local flocks of sheep and bungalows surrounded by pomegranate trees, and Farley depicts operatic fall colors of acorns, rose hips and oak leaves. A visit to “Art on Arbutus” will surely brighten November day.
